Seeking (Natural) Polyamide/Nylon scrap for recycling

Dear sirs

We are a Danish company who supply Polyamide based ReproPellets (Nylon) for the Scandinavian market. On the following pages, we show different types of PA (Nylon) scrap that we are seeking for our production.

Can your company supply these types of scrap?

If Yes, then please answer questions below:

  • Are your PA scrap in natural color, without white pigments? (Titanium dioxide TiO2) (If the scrap isn’t 100% natural, then please specify the content of additives or other polymers)
  • Can you provide pictures of the actual scrap, you intend to offer to us?
  • Is it possible with regular deliveries, or are there only a limited quantity available?
  • Can we arrange a testorder of appx. 8-10 kg in order to have it analyzed/tested in our lab. prior to placing the main order? (We will cover all transportation costs by sending you a DHL label. You just have to inform us specs. reg. pick-up of the shipment)

Type: NATURAL PA6 or PA66 (please inform what type you can supply) If the scrap isn’t 100% natural, then please specify the content of added material (eg. EVOH)

Scrap type B

Filament scrap from textile production.

NATURAL PA6 or PA66 (please inform what type you can supply).

Scrap type C

Natural PA 66 from Airbag manufacturing (uncoated).

Scrap type D

Yarn packed in bales.

Type: NATURAL PA6 or PA66 (please inform what type you can supply).

Scrap type E

Filament scrap from Carpet production.

Scrap type F

PA 66 from Airbag manufacturing – coated with silicone on one side.

OUR MACHINERY CAN’T HANDLE THIS TYPE OF SCRAP.

Here is a list of additional important details that we need to clarify early in our dialogue:

  • Are the scrap packed in bales ?.. if Yes, please inform apps. weight per bale
  • How many kilos are there in a 20’ or 40’ container?
  • Please inform me price per kg (USD or EUR)
  • Please specify delivery terms (FOB or CIF)Please specify payment terms
  • Can you provide tech. datasheet from the original resin supplier?
  • Do you have any knowledge regarding the content of moisture in the scrap?
  • Please inform the name/location of your port (If your prices are FOB)
